Installing FileZilla FTP Server

To installing FileZilla to your Windows dedicated server, follow these steps:

1. Visit http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=server.

2. Click on the current FileZilla file for Windows and save the executable file to your desktop.

3. Go to your desktop and double click the executable (.exe) file.

4. Select a language and click OK



5. Next, you will need to click that you agree to the License Agreement.
 

 
6. Leave the type of install as Standard, and then click Next.



The Standard install will include documentation, Start Menu shortcuts, and Desktop icons for easy access to the program once it's installed. Advanced users may opt for a custom install if they wish to have access to the Source Code.
 
7. The next window will ask you where you want to install the program. Unless you have some special needs, leave the install location as the default, and then click Next.

8. Leave the setup settings as the default, then click Next.

9. Click Close to finish the install, and FileZilla will now be installed on your server.

10. You can now run the program by simply clicking the filezilla.exe file or one of the shortcuts on your desktop that was created as part of the installation.
